We were all thrilled to help celebrate Dave Simpson's 60th birthday - or his big LX day in Roman Numerals. Although the 'big day' had occurred some weeks ago, it was lovely to get together for an evening of good friends, good food and good wine at the Bouzy Rouge in Richmond. Seeing we were 'instructed' not to bring presents, this blog is to celebrate Dave Simpson’s 60 th birthday. Turning 60 is considered an important event in many cultures. For example, in China someone who arrived at 60 years completed a full life cycle starts celebrating a new life.
